CONFERENCE TOPICS

 

We solicit previously unpublished papers offering novel research contributions in any aspect of security, trust and dependability of networking systems. Papers may present advances in the theory, design, implementation, analysis or experimentation of secure and dependable computing and communications.

Topics of interest include:

  • Network security, Malware, Intrusion detection, Attacks and defenses
  • Web security, Protocol security
  • Distributed monitoring
  • Alerts correlation and aggregation
  • Data Forensics, Accountability
  • Model, mechanism and key applications for trust and reputation
  • Data mining for security and trust evaluation
  • Distributed checkpoint and verification
  • Reliability, availability, survivability

 

 

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

STDN 2012 invites authors to submit full papers representing original, unpublished work in all areas of Security and Trust of Distributed Networking systems.

Submitted manuscripts may not exceed a total of 8 single-spaced double-column pages using 10-point size font on 8.5x11 inch pages (IEEE conference style - see templates below). All papers will be reviewed. Accepted papers will appear in the printed program book and CD-ROM proceedings of the main conference, IPDPS 2012.

Authors should:

(i) submit PDF or Word file through the EDAS web site.

(ii) send email to the Program Chair (stdn.netlab at gmail.com) containing (in plain text) the title of the submission and a copy of the abstract.

 

Camera-ready Papers

The STDN camera-ready paper page limit is set to 8 pages, following IPDPS proceedings style (the same as the submitted IEEE conference style). Please refer to the IPDPS web page for deadlines and information about how to submit the camera ready paper.
