ICNA-2011 aims to bring together researchers and practitioners to share new ideas and experiences and to discuss the challenges and important questions posed by today's and future core networks, including switching, data-centric and content distribution networks. We solicit stimulating, original, previously unpublished ideas on completed work, position papers, and/or work-in-progress papers. We further encourage papers that propose new research directions or could generate lively debate at the workshop. While co-located with MSN 2011, ICNA-2011 intends to solicit papers from the computer science and networking community.
ICNA-2011 topics include but are not limited to the following areas,
- Enterprise, datacenter, and storage area networks
- Routing, network protocols, and transport protocols
- Content distribution networks
- Fault/delay tolerant networks, space netowrks
- Internet of Things
- Cyber-physical systems
- Vehicular networks
- Insights into network and traffic characteristics
- Network management and traffic engineering
- Network security, vulnerability, and defenses
- Technical aspects of online social networks

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
|
|
The accepted papers from this workshop will be published by IEEE Computer Society (indexed by EI Compendex). Papers should be written in English conforming to the IEEE standard conference format (8.5 "x 11", Two-Column) [http://www.computer.org/portal/pages/cscps/cps/cps_forms.html]. Papers should be submitted through the paper submission system at the symposium website [https://cmt.research.microsoft.com/ICNA2011/] or emailed to the Program Chair (netlab.ICNA@gmail.com). Each paper is limited to 6 pages (or 8 pages with over length charge). The program committee will select the Best Paper Awards for this workshop. Submitting a paper to the workshop means that, if the paper is accepted, at least one author should attend the symposium and present the paper. For no-show authors, their papers will be removed from the digital library after the symposium and their affiliations will be notified.
